Enter plain Unicode text up to 2,000 words. Spaces, punctuation, emoji and line breaks remain in place. Capitalized Words simply uppercases the first cased letter of each detected word; it is not APA, AP, Chicago or another title-style rules engine.
How to understand your results

What does the Case Converter do?

How do I convert uppercase text to lowercase?

What is sentence case?
Sentence case lowercases cased letters and uppercases the first detected letter after the beginning of a sentence. Proper nouns still need review.
What does Toggle Case do?
Toggle Case changes uppercase letters to lowercase and lowercase letters to uppercase while leaving uncased characters unchanged.
Does punctuation change during case conversion?
No punctuation is intentionally added, removed or reordered. Only cased letter forms are transformed.
Does the tool work with accented and Unicode letters?
It uses browser Unicode casing methods, so many accented and non-ASCII cased letters are supported; language-specific results can vary.
Is this the same as a style-guide title capitalization tool?
No. Capitalized Words is a simple word-initial transformation and does not apply APA, AP, Chicago or other editorial title rules.
Does my text leave my browser?
